Imagine that the Snake game was once one of the most played computer games. Our fathers and grandfathers played it very enthusiastically. It is a game that belongs to the skill game genre. Such games require players to have very good fine motor skills and strong reaction abilities. For me personally, this is only half the story. Pressing buttons quickly and at the right moment is certainly not that easy, but it is very easy to manage when the object being chased is in the immediate vicinity. It looks a little different when it is not. Other skills such as spatial perception or the selection of the best possible aiming path are required. This also raises the requirements that a player should bring to this game. Snake is an excellent example of this, although it is such a spartanly designed game with equally simple rules, but the challenge can be very demanding and very attractive for the player. The well-known adage "all that glitters is not gold" applies here. There are many examples of this. Think of Tetris or Mahjong, they are classics whose presentation is limited to the bare essentials, the rules are easy to understand, and probably that is why they are still very popular and popularly played today. |
This is what is included in the game "Snake" |
The aim of the game is toThe aim of the game is to guide the snake to catch as much food as possible without hitting any obstacles. This includes the perimeter of the playing field and the snake's own body parts.
At the beginning of the game a small snake appears in the middle of the playing field, which consists of only one brick: the head. Then the food snacks appear. The player guides the snake, or more precisely its head, onto the body part of the food morsel. To do this, he uses the arrow keys on the keyboard. If the morsel is touched, it disappears, the snake becomes longer by one body part and a new morsel appears somewhere on the board.
The food bite: A morsel always appears at the beginning of the game.
End of game: The player may grow the snake and manoeuvre it as long as he does not touch any obstacles. These include the borders of the playing field and, of course, the player's own snake body parts.
